Communism doesn’t work because it gives all power to the government and none to the people. When you take the money from the wealthy (who, by the way, earned that money) and try to ’spread it around’ you end up with a whole bunch of people who are poor.

That’s the thought process behind it, true enough. It’s supposed to be the ‘party of the people’. In reality, it leads to big government because it is a system in which the government takes care of all your needs and controls your assets.

I think that most communist supporters oppose government. Note there is a difference between communism and the Communist Party.
